Biography...
Jim loves to speak… but, even more than speaking, he loves to listen. And it’s been his outstanding listening skill (used in working with hundreds of organizations) over the past 18 years that has helped him become an unforgettable and inspirational public speaker.
Jim understands people and knows how to create an environment where they can learn and have fun at the same time. While some speakers make you laugh, some make you cry, and some make you take a good hard look at yourself, Jim Paluch does all of the above and much more… and yet makes you feel like you’ve just had a brainstorming session with an old friend.

Jim graduated from the Ohio State University with a degree in Landscape Architecture in 1983. Early in his career he became an avid student of positive thinking, absorbing every book and audio tape he could find, while striving to develop himself for future success. Over the past two decades, he’s literally changed the lives of his conference & seminar attendees, and coaching clients.
Hundreds of businesses, including FedEx, Ernst & Young and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation have turned to him to educate and energize employees. Jim’s three highly acclaimed books that have been labeled motivational novels and have sold nearly 500,000 copies around the world.
As president of JP Horizons, Inc., Jim and his team are sought out nationally for their business coaching expertise, as well as the implementation of their People Solutions that drive business performance. Using innovative programs offering a unique blend of technology and personal touch (like the Working Smarter Training Challenge), JP Horizons provides education, motivation and training that continues 12 months a year.
In 2005 Jim became passionate about the concepts of Lean Management and has implemented its fundamental practices into a 52-week internet training program where companies can bring a Lean culture into their businesses and learn to work smarter in everything that they do.
